MintBox is a youth-founded and youth-run nonprofit in New York City that designs and donates gardening products to increase access to fresh produce and nutrition education. Founded in 2020 by eighth graders during the pandemic, MintBox has donated more than 2,000 growing boxes and built custom self-watering planters for community centers, shelters and schools across the city.
