The partnership began with a joint event in February 2026 alongside KidsKnowRights and the Language Service Club. Saint Peter's hosted and made the community introductions; MintBox handed out portable garden boxes while the wider effort collected and distributed toys and clothing.
This is the clearest example of our partnership model working as designed. The church already had the relationships with the families it serves, so all we had to do was build the boxes, bring volunteers, and teach planting. The collaboration was left open for future work, and this page will grow as it does.
